Meet the team
At Unravel Therapeutics, we’re more than just a clinic; we are a collaborative community.
Dani St Julian (She/her)
I was born and raised in Fort McMurray, AB. Growing up in the North provided me with a sense of adventure and a fondness for wild spaces. I learned quickly that I wanted to carve out an intentional lifestyle for myself. One that is close to nature, rich in experiences, and fosters meaningful connections. Thankfully, I found Golden!
I spent my 20s studying Kinesiology, and my fascination with the human body grew deep. In the summers I lead week-long active travel tours, and in winter I escaped to the ski slopes in search of powder.
I began my massage career after studying with the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage in 2012. The school prided itself on creating practitioners who honed their ability to truly listen to a client’s needs, hold space, and be able to offer a whole body/client-centered treatment style. After 6 years of working as a bodyworker in backcountry lodge settings and for my own businesses in both Canmore and Golden, I knew I wanted to take the next step in my massage career. I took on another 2200 hrs of Remedial Massage Therapy Training and graduated with honors from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy. I challenged the regulated provincial board exams and passed. I am now a BC RMT and can offer insurance billing to the community of Golden.
My treatment style is many things: a balance of compassionate listening, educated investigation into the root cause of the discomfort, thoughtfulness, intuition, and most importantly: a safe space. My goal is to blend my bodywork training with remedial massage therapy in a treatment style that allows you to melt into relaxation while addressing the stuck issues in your soft tissue. Ultimately, this will leave you feeling deeply relaxed, but also with more space and ease in your body. I have furthered my education diving into the world of the nervous system and treating the peripheral nervous system for a safe and integrative treatment approach using DermoNeuroModulating techniques and theory. Our nervous system is the boss of our whole body and if we don’t pay attention to what it is asking of us, we miss out on greater healing. On the flip side of this, I love giving deeply relaxing therapeutic facials, and also love working with Pre/Postnatal patients.
I am also passionate about movement and want to invite you to find feel-good movement in your body in a way that is safe for you. I hold a 200Hr Registered Yoga Teacher certificate that I received right here in Golden, BC from Alana Jung and Lydia Zamorano.
When I am not in the treatment room you can find me riding my mountain bike, backcountry skiing, gardening, laughing with friends, or taking a dip in the Blaeberry River with my family.
I am currently on maternity leave. I will be opening up my schedule to my returning patients when I feel ready. If you would like to be on the list to be notified of my return please email me at: info@unravel-therapeutics.com
Kelsey Leiterman (She/her)
I moved to Golden in 2019 with the intention of setting down some roots and building community. The roots still are getting deeper, and I am so blessed with this community of amazing folks here at Unravel.
Before becoming a Massage Therapist, I worked in Silviculture for several years. I was able to see firsthand the correlation between self-care and performance. When I looked after myself, got a massage, or went to physio, I was a happier person and had better all-around days. I strongly believe that preventative actions are the best ways to treat an injury. Although I still feel the draw of bushwork, it’s really nice to have the summers to plant gardens and run on trails.
In 2019 I graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC with 2400 hours of practical training. During my time in Vernon and through my school I was lucky to be able to see and treat a wide variety of people and specific injuries, giving me the tools and confidence to practice out on my own. My treatments continue to use a strong foundation of Swedish Massage techniques, as well as myofascial release, and deep tissue.
I’ve continued to expand my knowledge base, and in 2023 added Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) to my skill set. MLD is a lightweight, rhythmical technique used to stimulate and encourage the flow of lymph from body tissues and is used to help people with a wide variety of ailments including lymphedema, post-operative recovery, and acute and chronic inflammation.
I am seriously fascinated with the intricacies of the human body, and carry my knowledge of its anatomy into my practice. I take a holistic approach to my treatment style. I try to create the best treatment plan for my clients with all of their concerns in mind. Whether you’re sore from falling trees, skiing, or too many zoom meetings, I want to work with you to create the treatment you need. I really enjoy leaving people feeling deeply relaxed and renewed post-massage, and I strive to foster a therapeutic space for healing and rehabilitation. At the end of the day, what I love most about my job is helping people feel good in their body.
When I’m not in the mountains trying to tire out my dog, you can find me curled up on the couch reading some form of fiction, playing board games, or baking up a storm.

I grew up in the outdoors and have always loved wild and rugged places. This love led me to pursue a degree in Biology, and I was fortunate to work as a field biologist across BC and in many of the mountain National Parks. I moved to Field in 2018, and then to Golden a few years later — and quickly realized there was nowhere else I’d rather be.
Being a field biologist is a physically demanding occupation. Over the years, I developed a deep appreciation for the body’s intrinsic strength and ability to heal itself — along with my fair share of chronic injuries and frustration with pain. Those experiences sparked a fascination with the human body that eventually led me to a second career as a Registered Massage Therapist.
I graduated with honours from Calgary’s Vicars School of Massage Therapy in 2021 and am now a BC-registered RMT offering insurance billing.
My background in biology and lived experience with injury recovery naturally drew me toward a neurofunctional-informed approach — a therapeutic style that focuses on the nervous system as much as the muscles. My treatments draw from techniques such as DermoNeuroModulating (DNM), Clinical Neurodynamics, and somatic movement, which work together to improve how the body senses, moves, and regulates itself. This approach is highly targeted and collaborative, designed to create meaningful, long-term change in how your body feels and functions.
My practice is focused on therapeutic care, not relaxation or general deep-tissue massage. I do not offer treatments aimed purely at stress relief, general muscle fatigue, or “maintenance” massage. Instead, I work with clients who are looking to understand and change specific patterns in their body — whether that’s chronic or recurring pain, injury recovery, postural or lifestyle strain, or movement challenges that affect day-to-day life or athletic performance.
In treatment, my style is intuitive, evidence-informed, and client-centered. I provide focused care and often incorporate gentle movement, awareness, or homecare strategies to help clients stay engaged in their own progress beyond the table.
If you’re looking for a treatment that addresses root causes and helps your body relearn more easeful movement and comfort, this work may be a great fit.
When I’m not in the treatment room, you’ll find me wandering through my garden, or out hiking, mountain biking, or “biologizing” in the mountains around Golden.

I’m pleased to be accepting new clients who are interested in this neurofunctional-informed, therapeutic approach. Please note that my treatments do not include relaxation-style or general deep-tissue massage. If this sounds like the kind of focused, collaborative care you’re looking for, I’d love to work with you.

Julie Baron (She/her)
I first embarked on the path of Massage Therapy with a desire to become a part of the solution. I have a passion for preventative care, and my treatments are therapeutically suited and accessible to all members of the family. I believe that acknowledging the journey to health is an important part of positive wellness.
My approach is grounded in the biopsychosocial model, which considers the complex interactions between these factors in health and pain management. I believe in preventative care and tailor my treatments to be inclusive and accessible for all, acknowledging the unique health journey of each individual.
As a graduate of the 3000-hour program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC, in 2016, I have worked in diverse environments, including Heli-skiing organizations and multidisciplinary clinics, while maintaining a private practice. I thrive on continuous learning and have developed a keen interest in assessment-based treatments, focusing on identifying and addressing the root causes of dysfunctional movement and chronic pain.
As a clinical practitioner, I help my patients manage pain, reduce muscle spasms, restore mobility, and improve overall function. My treatments aim to not only relieve symptoms, but also support long-term wellness and return to activity, helping clients navigate chronic conditions and improve their quality of life.
In my free time, you can find me paddleboarding or hiking with my family on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Ktunaxa peoples.
I am no longer accepting new patients so that I can better serve my current caseload.

Zoe Brule (She/her):
I’ve always had a passion for movement, starting with dance and later embracing the mountain lifestyle when I moved to Golden in 2008. Before becoming a massage therapist, I spent over a decade working in the forestry industry and dedicating my winters to snowboarding. This hands-on experience gave me a deep understanding of the physical demands placed on the body and how to best support it through those challenges.
In 2014, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (RYT200), which further deepened my appreciation for the body’s mechanics. My curiosity about the healing potential of the body grew, which led me to pursue massage therapy. I enrolled at MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy, and after gaining hands-on experience at a cat-skiing lodge, I started my own practice here in Golden.
I take an intuitive, client-centered approach to massage therapy, blending strong therapeutic techniques with an attentiveness to each person's unique needs. I use a variety of methods, including deep tissue massage, myofascial release, active release, trigger point therapy, and relaxation techniques. Whether you're looking for regular maintenance, recovering from an injury, or preparing for a sporting event, my goal is to help you achieve balance, mobility, and overall well-being.
I’m excited to be a part of the Unravel community and look forward to supporting you on your journey to better mobility, relaxation, and wellness.
I will be working minimally at Unravel over the winter months as I will be working away at Chatter Creek Cat Skiing for the season. I look forward to the spring, when I will open up my schedule at Unravel!
